On April 3rd 2019, Cantillon blended a batch of Gueuze for bottling, same as they always do. Typically, a normal Gueuze blend will start to carbonate after a few months in the bottle, but this one was a bit slower than usual. It eventually started to referment little by little, so not a true Loerik, just a Gueuze that needed a little extra time to fully carbonate. The result is a fine Gueuze, fruity and aromatic, that lingers on the palate.
